Scapolite is a gemsonte that can have various colors, and although it is not one of the hardest, it is similar to opal, so it requires some attention from the wearer. It can be made into a pendant, brooch, or earring, but it is not recommended for everyday use as a ring, rather it is only recommended to be worn as an occasional cocktail ring. Yellow and beige scapolites are the most common, but there are also real rarities and delicacies among them. This purple 2.60 Ct oval cut Petschite scapolite from Afghanistan is another specialty. Its size is excellent, and its color is a real rarity.
