The tektite family includes natural glasses that were created as a result of meteor impacts. At the point of impact, such a high pressure and temperature was created that melted the local environment, and if there was sand in the lucky case, the melt became glass of some color. The most beautiful tektite of this kind is undoubtedly the moldavite that can be collected in the Czech Republic. This 6.30 Ct, cushion cut olive green giants can take a prominent place in any collection. Under a microscope or magnifying glass, you can discover the wormhole-like striations and tiny gas bubbles that are only characteristic of moldavite, which were created when it was formed.
