In Tanzania, the special green, purple and blue colored cornerupines, which can only be found here in the world, are found in an area that is part of the world heritage, and therefore the area is guarded by the military, so the miners really risk their lives if they try to collect kornerupine here. Nevertheless, some brave lucky hunters bring out the beautifully colored specimens from time to time. Unfortunately, the good quality Tanzanian kornerupine crystals are very small, and because it is so dangerous to collect them, these factors shape the price of cornerupines in Tanzania. But it's definitely worth buying at least one specimen of each of the 3 main color versions, because it's a really rare specialty, it doesn't grow under every tree. The traditional name of the pastel green kornerupine is prismatine. The more than half ct specimen offered for sale is considered particularly large of this color variant. Do not miss it!
