Actinolite is a typical member of the Amphibole family. Each member of the amphibole family is a rare collector's stone. I have seen many times that a dealer sells a stone as amphibole, which happens when he cannot identify more precisely which member of the family it is. After all, this is not a serious mistake, a bit like calling indigolite blue tourmaline, or rubellite pink or red tourmaline. Either one is a correct name.
