Opals traditionally belong to classic gemstones, but in addition to the well-known noble opal shining in rainbow colors or the fire opal resplendent in red shades, there are also rare specialties. Green opal is actually one of those special varieties of blue opal, previously only known in Central America. Recently, this rarity also appeared in Australia. This 1.00 Ct pear cut specimen is from the new Australian deposit. The special feature of this specimen is that some black pyrolusite inclusions and 2 small spherical white cristobalite inclusions can also be discovered in the back part.
