Scapolite is a gemsonte that can have various colors, and although it is not one of the hardest, it is similar to opal, so it requires some attention from the wearer. It can be made into a pendant, brooch, or earring, but it is not recommended for everyday use as a ring, rather it is only recommended to be worn as an occasional cocktail ring. Yellow and beige scapolites are the most common, but there are also real rarities and delicacies among them. The special feature of this 2.45 ct cushion-cut straw-yellow Meionite scapolite from Brazil is that it shines in a padparadscha-pink color in short-wave UV light.

This is a rare Calcium Scapolite, it is called: Meionite. This changes its the color into padparadscha pink under UV SW light.
